Word Rabbit Science - Journal of the World Rabbit Sciencie Association

Electronic ISSN: 1989-8886

ISI Thompson included World Rabbit Science in the Current Contents and in the Science Citation Index Expanded at the beginning of 2005, and it has been included in the Journal Citation Reports in 2007 after the period of 2 years required to determine the first impact factor of the journal.

The Science Citation Index Expanded provides access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, authors abstracts, and cited references found in approximately 5900 of the world's leading scholarly science and technical journals covering more than 150 disciplines, and the number of papers published in journals of this list is frequently used to evaluate the scientific activity (very important in the continuous evaluation process of the scientists). Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Sciences provides also access to complete bibliographic information from articles, editorials, meeting abstracts, commentaries, and all other significant items in recently published editions of over 1,040 of the world's leading agriculture, biology, and environmental sciences journals and books in a broad range of categories.

ISI's editorial staff reviews nearly 2000 new journal titles annually, but only 10-12% of the journals evaluated are selected. Moreover, existing journal coverage in ISI products is also constantly under review. Each journal goes through an extensive evaluation process before being selected or rejected. Considering this extensive selection, World Rabbit Science could be considered as one of the best journals in Animal Science of the World (only 36 included in ISI list).

We are much obliged to ask for you to follow using our journal to spread your results, and now with all the more reason, its inclusion in the ISI list and our short time for publication (a mean of 6 months from the reception of the paper) -one of the problems of other animal science journals. So, we hope that the improvement of being included in the ISI web of knowledge will stimulate authors to send papers and readers to subscribe.
